The Knightdale High School Truth Defined cohort continues to demonstrate how structured mentorship and identity‑building can shift outcomes for youth facing adversity. This cohort achieved 100% graduation for eligible seniors, 0% disciplinary incidents, 0% justice‑system involvement, and an 85% attendance rate despite outside challenges. Students also reported stronger confidence, better decision‑making, and a growing sense of belonging. These results show the clear social impact Truth Defined brings: higher school engagement, reduced behavioral risk, and healthier long‑term pathways for young people who need the most support.

We’re expanding Truth Defined beyond school walls and into the heart of local neighborhoods — and we want the community to stand with us.
Through our partnership with Providence Church Raleigh, Team Truth 919 is now serving a new cohort of youth from the surrounding communities, providing consistent mentorship, identity‑building curriculum, and a safe space for growth.

This expansion will allow us to:

Reach youth who may not have access to school‑based support programs
Strengthen protective factors such as belonging, decision‑making, and positive adult relationships
Reduce risk factors related to absenteeism, discipline, and negative community influences
Bring families and community mentors into a shared support network
Provide structured weekly sessions focused on identity, confidence, and life skills
Create a model that can be replicated in additional neighborhoods across Wake County
